Here's a wonderful dressmaker's form made in 1972. It is has the name "evelyn berney" on the bottom as well as "112#" along with the date "7/24/72" so we assume she made this form. It stands on a heavy, cast steel legs and adjusts in height from 41" up to 67" (measured to top of neck). The form measurements are bust: 35"; waist: 27"; hip: 35" and the total height of the torso (the blue portion) is 27". There is wire skirt cage attached at the bottom of the torso which is 13 tall.
The form is padded and covered with a blue knit material. There are removable white seam guides that are pinned in place.Ready to use for sewing, as a mannequin or decor piece. This dress form is in very good vintage condition--clean and very sturdy.
The form fabric is free of rips, holes, stains or foul odors. The wire skirt cage is bent in a few spots and has a couple of welds that have broken. Please take a moment to review them. This item is made of cast steel and padding, knit fabric, steel tube, wood.
