Antique French Child Mannequin Seigel Paris Rare Articulated Waist C1880's Victorian Fashion

Wonderful and rare antique french child mannequin made by seigel paris c1880's. The mannequin has a paper mache body with wooden articulated upper arms. This mannequin also has an articulated waist which is very rare to find the mannequin retains it's original heavy linen fabric attached undergarment with seigel paris stamp.

Most of the antique french child mannequins that you find have had this original undergarment replaced with newer fabric. The mannequin is in overall very good condition with some expected surface wear to the paper mache and the linen undergarment shows some age related soiling. Also note that one arm of the undergarment is missing. Please see photos for further details. The mannequin measures 40 1/2" in height and 12 1/2" in width at the shoulders.
