The tripod base bears a metallic adjusment ring for the bust to be more or less tall. Is is a wounded bird - the upper cotton fabric has dried over time and shows many holes and tears, revealing the wool stuffing underneath. The collar piece shows a few yellow stains.
The wooden disc topping the bust is a bit loose-fitting. The wooden foot is still sturdy although it shows a few worm holes. Late 19th or very early 20th century. Total height at its lowest (can be set up to stand taller) : 150 cm / 59in.Please keep in mind that all my listings are vintage or antique - therefore traces of time are normal and mostly inevitable i do my best to thoroughly describe all objects and their potential flaws.
