Antique Mannequin Dress Making Taylors Dummy Vintage Stockmann Shop Window or Bedroom Display Elegant Form Interior Decor

Welcome to the sale of this elegant antique mannequin. Although unbranded this mannequin is made identically to many of the stockman mannequins i have owned. The body is papermache over a wooden frame covered in padding and a linen fabric. It stands on its original wooden three legged base and is adjustable in height.

This one has a light coloured base, top finial and arm caps, making it slightly different to most where this wood has been painted black. Although solid and useable, its original condition means it is a little worn and distressed. However i personally think this is when they look their best and much prefer them in this honest condition. The mannequin measures (in cm) 158 to 174 tall, 35 across the shoulders, 86 around the bust, 72 around the waist, 94 around the hips.

In fair condition commensurate with its age and use. The body is nice and solid but its fabric covering is worn and has a few rips. The papermache below is good and undented.

The base is solid having been restored fixing previous poor repairs, it also has some old worm holes.
