Beautiful antique adjustable dressmaker form from early 1900s. Hall-Borchert Co.

This is an absolutely striking piece - from the cast iron base on wheels to the adjustable cage for the dress form to the wooden handle at the top what an interesting piece to display and what a conversation piece items of this era are normally only found in museums. This woman's form has a hard board body with a cloth cover. It stands on an adjustable metal base. Everything on this mannequin is adjustable by wing nuts inside the shell and the height is also adjustable. The base reads hall borchert, dress form, made in canada - it is on wheels so can easily be moved around.

Condition is consistent with age and use. This is an incredible piece to decorate a boutique , a farmhouse, use on a movie set, etc. We have a friend who has his mother's wedding dress from the 1930s on an antique mannequin - priceless.
