Hand made from recycled materials. Felix, ds-138-ft mannequin with fixed shoulder. Felix, (ds-138-ft), is one of our male forms and is based on the body of a tall, slim, young model. He is a torso stand with fixed shoulders and without arm caps. Like all our mannequins, felix is more relevant to today's male body shape. Nape to waist: 47.5cm. The stand base is made of heavy metal and is designed to be stable, yet still allow smooth movement and height adjustment. Each base comes with four castors, two lockable, and a foot pedal to adjust height. Design-surgery has designed, developed, sourced and supplied a new generation of tailors' and dressmakers' body forms, which reflect today's body shapes and incorporate a number of useful aids. Our mannequins are chosen by the british fashion council for their pattern cutting seminars as well as being the mannequin selected for fashion scout and graduate fashion week. Design-surgery body stands are used in universities, design studios and by individual designers.
