Fabulous Vintage D.F. Cage Dress Form with Edwardian Corset and Garters

Up for sale is an incredible vintage 1950's era p. Dress forms, toronto, original form, mannequin, museum quality piece. A fantastic vintage dress form in amazing condition with toronto business supplier brand. Dress forms with address on neck back.

No rips in original fabric body which is marked as a size 14. Very good condition with very minor wear and some staining spots on the fabric which may spot clean out. Cast iron cage attached as shown. The cast iron base has four legs with original wheels and is marked " toronto" and "canada " on two opposing sides.

Some paint loss on base legs as shown. Worn on the dress form is a stunning edwardian corset with garters. It is marked "smart set" and marked patented from 1908 to 1917. The six attached and adjustable garters are stamped " smart set" with "lindsay flexible felt" marked on the garter snap.

One felt strap is missing. The corset is 19.5 inches long at the front and 17 inches long at the back. It has 12'whalebone' stays throughout. The front is laced with 50 (25 each side) eyelets with the cotton lace.

Three of the four ends of the lacing has their metal aglets (shealths) attached. The back closes with 6 metal hook and eyes. The top of the corset is adorned with scalloped lace and a triple bow finished off the back top.
