French antique mannequin Vintage Decoupage mannequin Dress makers mannequin Vintage dress form 1910s mannequin tailors dummy

A magnifique french antique decoupage mannequin in lovely vintage condition circa 1900 / 1910 complete with original stand and height adjustment bracket. The early mannequins were made of papier mache and are incredibly robust. I cant find a makers name but most likely by siegel and stockman of paris. This one has had period newspaper cuttings pasted onto it and has been superbly done. As hard as i look i cannot find a date on the cuttings and adverts but wouild assume they have been added sometime after the mannequin was made. What has been done but cotton covers are easily available if one prefers the original finish. There are some indentations to the front of the body due to its age but it retains its strength completely. Fantastic shop display or purely as a stand alone decorative antique.
