Fabulous and rare antique french shop countertop display wasp waist mannequin / dressmaker's dummy, ca. 1870, lined with creamy beige fine cotton so tightfully adjusted on it. See the number of joined panels fitting skillfully to give shape to the figure on picture 6. Complete with her hand-turned wooden arm discs and neck fitting, mid/early victorian era.

Height of body - 68cm (26.75 inches). Bust - 90cm (35.50 inches). Waist - 51cm (20 inches). Hips - 100cm (39.50 inches).

The linen fabric has taken divine colours of brown and cloudy beige and off-white commensurate with the passage of time. Normal signs of time with a small tear near right breast, some water marks or staining due to storage and advanced age, nothing that detracts, but only adds to the vintage charm.
