Rare Antique Stockman Male Mannequin 150cm Tall full Torso with Wooden Feet Tailors Dummy Window Display Dress Making Sewing Tailoring

Welcome to the sale of this superb mannequin. Made by the famous french company'stockman of paris' this full torso male mannequin would date from the latter part of the 19th century. Constructed with a paper mache body covered in cotton wool and encased in a hessian fabric, it stands on wooden lower legs and feet. It has wooden caps to the neck and shoulders and retains its makers marks to the front. A very rare mannequin that has survived in very good condition commensurate with its age and use. There are some historic worm holes to the feet and some old repairs, but nothing major. You are more than welcome to collect or i can deliver locally if needed. The mannequin measures (in cm) 150 tall, 38 wide and 26 deep. In good condition commensurate with its age and use. There are some historic worm holes and old repairs to the feet, but nothing major. You are of course more than welcome to collect your item from us in malmesbury, wiltshire (just off j17 m4).
