Vintage 1960's Retro Wire my Double Dress Form Mannequin, Shop or Mid Century Modern Period Home Décor

In excellent useable condition this vintage mannequin was called a "wire my double" dress form, the concept being you clad yourself in the wire body and adjusted it to fit your shape perfectly, fixing it in place with the adjustable segments and flexible plastic coated wire, the inner metal framework then held it in place for dressmaking. The body is mounted on a pale wood frame (beech, we think) with tripod base, height is adjustable by wooden thumb screws. In great condition, we cannot find any faults, maybe a bit of cobweb and brocante dust hiding in the corners but otherwise ready to use for sewing or for an unusual mid-century retro era clothing display. This item is made of metal and wood.
