Stunning, very unusual teenage girl mid-century plaster mannequin head/millinery/jewelry counter bust, circa 1950s (or possibly earlier). This lovely gal is not a reproduction - she's an original, vintage store display mannequin head. The back of her neck is marked with the number 42 b, there are no other markings present.
She has shoulder-length light strawberry blonde hair iwith a curled flip in the back and short baby bangs, lovely hazel eyes with bits of blue eyes and pale coral pink lips. Her coloring is gorgeous with lots of shades of color for incredible depth and dimension.
Made from plaster with a hollow metal core in her neck. She has some small flakes of paint/flaky small chips here and there and some very light and minor surface cracks - just enough to give her a great, extremely light vintage patina.
There is a little more paint loss around the base and sides of the shoulders. She's large, measuring approx. 12 1/2" tall, 6 1/2" across at the widest point, 7 deep. This item is made of plaster, paint and metal.
