Wasp Waist French Couture Manniquin

This genuine 1880s french wasp waist manniquin is covered in its original black cotton with a wonderfully exagerated waist and bustle bottom. She is worn which is typical with her age but this adds to her beauty. This manniquin would have originated from a couture house in france. She has a height adjustable base with a brass tightening ring. The brass decorative ball to the top was most likely a later addition but looks beautiful next to the dark wood and brown of the original cloth. Dimensions: 114cm height at lowest adjustable / 159cm height at highest adjustable / 30cm depth at base of body / 33cm width at base of body / 16cm width at waist / 32cm width at shoulder. The item being vintage or antique, it might have small imperfections due to the wear of time, which doesn't alter its beauty or solidity.
